TOM THOMSON (CANADIAN 1877-1917) A LARGE EARLY 20TH CENTURY GOUACHE AND WATERCOLOUR the impressionist painting depicting a view of a waterfall through a woodland landscape above a gilt board with arts and crafts style text reading 'THE SECRET ENTRANCE TO THE ELDORADO OF THE GREAT NORTH WEST' - mounted in a quality oak leaf and acorn moulded gilt frame; Tom Thomson was a member of The Group of Seven who worked for the design company Grip Ltd. In Toronto, Canada during the first half of the 20th century.
