AN EARLY 18TH CENTURY WALNUT INVERTED BELL-TOP PULL QUARTER REPEAT VERGE BRACKET CLOCK the 7.5" arched brass dial with mask-head spandrels, signed silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers enclosing a matted centre with mock pendulum aperture below a star-cut arch with date dial. F Eight-day timepiece movement with five finned bulbous pillars, finely engraved floral back plate with pierced apron, verge escapement and passing strike with pull quarter repeat on two bells. The figured walnut veneered case with inverted bell top and folding brass handle, sound frets to the hinged door and glazed side panels; standing on a short grained moulded base.
