The 13" arched brass dial with an engraved border having unusual gilt pierced lion and unicorn spandrels and broad silvered chapter ring enclosing a matted and engraved centre with raised ringed winding holes, calendar aperture and subsidiary seconds dial; the silvered dial to the arch engraved with countries and cities of the world with time difference in Arabic numerals above a rotating sundial which indicates noon at the various places. The substantial eight-day weight-driven five pillar movement with arched plates and extended front plate to support the world time dial drive train, striking the hours on a bell - with original weights and pendulum
