The door with shaped floral and scrolling leaf work marquetry panels set with a bird and central pendulum lenticle all within a cross-grain D shaped moulded border; the conforming base raised on ebonised bun feet. The 11” brass dial with foliated cherubs head spandrels, signed silvered Roman chapter ring with outer Arabic minute markings and gilt matted centre with central Tudor rose, engraved date box surround, ringed winding holes and subsidiary seconds dial; with blued steel hands. The 8-day twin key wound movement with five finned baluster pillars, anchor escapement and inside count wheel strike on a bell.
