A FINE EARLY 18TH CENTURY EBONY VENEERED PULL QUARTER REPEATING BRACKET CLOCK the inverted bell top case surmounted by a brass S scroll handle and urn finials above a brass bound mould and arched glazed door with pierced gilt sound frets enclosing a 7" arched brass dial with gilt pierced brass masked spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a signed matted centre with mock pendulum and calendar aperture, the arch with subsidiary regulation dial and Strike/Not Strike lever fronting an eight-day double fusee movement with five finned knopped pillars, rise and fall verge escapement and pull quarter repeating on six bells and hour strike on a larger bell, foliate engraved backplate and engraved bob pendulum.
