A RARE PAIR OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY FLINTLOCK BOX-LOCK BLUNDERBUSS-PISTOLS WITH UNDER SPRUNG BAYONETS BY YOUNG each having one-piece bronze action and barrel in three stages, turned and belled at the muzzle and fitted with a sprung bayonet beneath, border engraved octagonal breech, border engraved action decorated with a martial trophy on each side and signed 'YOUNG' to the left side; engraved thumbpiece and safety catch, engraved steel trigger-guard also forming the barrel-release, walnut flat-sided butts with vacant silver escutcheons (2)
