The 10" square brass dial with gilt cherub's head spandrels and silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals surrounding a matted engraved centre with narrow subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, later silvered engraved name plaque covering the original engraved signature fronting a five-pillar eight-day weight driven five pillar movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel striking the hours on a bell.
