A RARE GEORGE III TRIPLE PAD TOP BRACKET CLOCK OF SMALL PROPORTIONS the figured Mahogany case with three gilt brass framed panels above a glazed door with brass mounted canted corners repeated on the reverse, moulded base and brass bound plinth raised on brass ogee bracket feet. The 5" gilt brass and enamel dial with masked spandrels and Roman and Arabic numerals below a subsidiary Strike/Silent dial fronting an eight-day double fusee movement with verge escapement and fully engraved signed backplate striking and repeating the hours on a bell.
