A FINE MID 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD DOUBLE FUSEE LIBRARY CLOCK WITH LEVER ESCAPEMENT of small proportions, inset five glass panels with top above a rectangular case raised on a moulded plinth base with squat bun feet, the locking hinged door enclosing a scroll engraved gilt masked enamel dial with Roman numerals and fine pierced heart-shaped hands fronting a five-pillar eight-day chain-driven double fusee movement with signed backplate and original jewelled lever escapement striking the hours on a bell, the backplate with Strike/Silent lever.
