AN 18TH CENTURY FRENCH FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS OF FRENCH SLAVE TRADE INTEREST BY DOVERAUX OF NANTES having a brass mounted walnut stock with brass 9" barrel engraved with floral & geometric designs and signed & dated at the breach with an Islamic inscription translated to "Abdulrahman" (most likely the owner's name), the flintlock action signed Doveraux, Nantes - For an almost identical example see Antony Cribb Auctioneers 20/10 /2018 auction, lot 93.
