A LATE GEORGIAN 12" CELESTIAL TABLE GLOBE

A LATE GEORGIAN 12" CELESTIAL TABLE GLOBE suspended by brass supports with zodiac outer shelf. The globe displaying the various constellations and inscribed with cartouche "Wrights New Improv’d Celestial Globe on which the Stars, are correctly laid down, from the Observation of Dr. Halley, Dr. Bradley, Made & Sold by Wm Bardin No. 4 Hind Court, Fleet Street, London."; standing on a carved turned stem with shaped cabriole tripod legs.
