A GOOD AND UNUSUAL 19TH CENTURY SILVER PERFUME BOX MODELLED AS A MUSK OTTER the finely cast silver box modelled as a curled up musk otter with cabochon garnet eyes and push-button catch opening to reveal a fitted gilt interior with four glass perfume bottles with stoppers, the inner rim engraved with the retailers 'JONES, Bt. des Capucines, Paris. 41 St. James's St. London.' app. weight without bottles 186g (6 troy oz.) - Henry William Dee, London. 1877.
