A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRASS AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL MANTEL CLOCK the shaped case with a champleve frame enclosing a brass masked enamel dial with floral garland centre and Arabic numerals fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with balance wheel escapement.
21cm high
The gilding on the case will need cleaning, the champleve enamel is in good undamaged condition and the enamel dial has no cracks or chips, the movement is ticking with the original escapement but may need a service. The movement is a timepiece and has not got a striking function.
