JAPY FRERES, PARIS. A GIANT LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH PORCELAIN PANELLED CARRIAGE CLOCK, the gilt brass case with hinged handle and winged cherub above four putti, the pink porcelain panels painted with winged cherubs with matching dial fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with signed backplate and platform escapement.

The case is in nice condition with no damage to the panels. Has original gilding. The front left cherub is loose. The dial is in good undamaged condition with original hands. The movement is ticking and striking the correct hours but may need a service. Comes with period winding key
