The 10" square brass dial with gilt cherub's head spandrels and silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals surrounding a matted engraved centre with narrow subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, fronting a five-pillar eight-day weight driven five pillar movement with anchor escapement and inside countwheel having bolt and shutter maintaining power striking the hours on a bell.
