A GEORGE III ORMOLU MOUNTED QUARTER CHIMING MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK the figured mahogany case with bell top pediment above a glazed door with pierced ormolu sound frets enclosing an 8" arched brass dial with gilt spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with mock pendulum and calendar aperture below two subsidiary dials for Strike/Silent and March/Minuet fronting a substantial eight day triple fusee movement with verge escapement and signed scroll engraved backplate chiming the quarters on six bells and playing one of two tunes on the hour on eight bells and fifteen hammers.
